On all Conveyances by Deed under the old 3ystem, the cost of registration in the Deeds Registry, over and above the Solicitor's charge, is never loss than Fifteen Shillings, frequently very much more ; while land which has been I bought under tho provisions of " The Lund Transfer Act " can be transferred at a total :ost of Eleven Shillings where a whole 6e v 'tion is conveyed; aud where only partis conveyed (and therefore a fresh Certificate of Titlo is ■ecossitated), of Thirity-one Shillings, which is the highest sum allowed by tho Act, no matter what the yalue or area of tho land. 1 * Under tho Regulations in force on ami after the Ist January, 187k, the charge for Certifi. antes of Titles issued upon Memoranda of Transfer is reduced to 'I'eu Shillings in all cuees whoro the value of the laud is under Ten Pounds. The total cost of executing a mortgage or leaso of land, registered under the Act, is Twelve Shillings, no matter what the amount involved. A mortgage may be transferred or discharged, or a lease trausfa-ved or surrendered iovl'ive Shillings.
