And whereas, in and by the said resolution the Council resolved that the said Hate should be made and levied as aforesaid for the period of one year from, ihe day of the making and levying thereof^ and should be paid in one sum, and thr.t the amount of such rate should be the snra of ONE SHILLING in tho POUND on the values of the Rateable Properly as appearing in the Valuation Roll now in force in the County aforesaid. Notice therefore is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the last mentioned Act I bat the said Council on TH ORSDAY, the 16th day of August, now instant, intend to make and levy such Rate, and toorder and direct that the amount thereof shall be the sum of One Shilling in the Pound on the values aforesaid ; that thesaid Rate shall be for the period of Ono Year from the date of the making and! levying thereof, and shall be paid in one* sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, now next ensuing.
