THE LNANGMiIJA COUNTY COUpCIL, VI7HEIIEAS, th Inanoahua County Council, at a n eetiug held on the Ist day of August, 1877, pursuant to the powers conferred w Section 107 of the ' Counties ct, 1876,1 and in ezerci se of 'be same, and of Sail other powers in this behalf them enalling, resolved that a GENERAL RATS on all Rateable Property within the! said County, for carrying into effect t|ie general purposes of the said Act, should be made and levied in accordance with the provisions of the said Act-, and of " Tho Rating Act, 1876." And Whereas, in and by tho said resolution tho Council i that the said Hate should bo mat c and levied as* aforesaid for the period < f one year from 4ho day of the making and levying thereof, and should be paid in oi c sura, and that the amount of Buch rate should bo the sum of ONE SHIILING in the POUND on the values of the Rateable Property as appearing n the Valuation Roll now in force in the Jounty aforesaid. Notice therefore is herel y given pursuant to tho provisions of tl c last mentioned Act that the said Council n THURSDAY, the 16th day of Augu t, now instant, intend to make and levy »uch Rate, and to order and direct that tl] ; amount thereof shall be the sum of ole Shilling in the Pound on the values a bresaid ; that the said Rate shall be for 1 10 period of One Year from tho date of the making and levying thereof, and shall bo paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, now nest onsuing.
