ITTHEREAS, tl o Inanoahua Coitstv Council, at a meetiug held on the Ist day of August] 1877, pursuant to the 11 powers conferred py Section 107 of the ' Counties ct, 1876J and in. cserci se of •he same, and ofl all other powers in - this behalf them enabling, resolved that a GENERAL KATE on all Ilatsablc Property within th| said County, for carrying into effectjjthe general purposes of the said Act, slloukl be made and r levied in accordance With the provisions fc of the said Act, and ofl " The Bating Act, 1576." And whereas, in and by the said s resolution the Council resolved that the t said Rate should be made and levied as aforesaid for the period] of one year from 4ho day of the making aim levying thereof, and should be paid in one sum, and that the amount of such rafe should be the sum of ONE SHIILING in the POUND on the values] of the Rateable Property as appearing fin the Valuation Roll now in force in thefcounty aforesaid. L Notice therefore is herepy given pursuant to the provisions of tho last mentioned Act that the said Counci on THURSDAY, the 16th day of August, now instant, , intend to make and lcv^r such Hate, and to j order and direct that'the amount taereof shall be the sum of One Shilling in the Pound on the values aforesaid ; that the said Eate shall bo for tho period of One , Year from the dato of the making and ! levying thereof, and shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, noJ nest ensuing.
