And whereas, in and by the said resolution the Council resolved that the said Kate should tfe made and levied as aforesaid for tho period of one year from day of the making and levying thereof, and should be paid! in one sum, and that the amount of suclj rate should be the snm of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the vilues of the Rateable ■ Property as appealing in tho Valuation Roll now in force inlthe County aforesaid. Notice therefore is llereby given pursuant to the provisions ef the last mentioned Act that the said Coincil on THURSDAY, the 16th day of august, now instant, intend to make and] levy such Rate, and to order and direct that the amount thereof shall tie the sum [of One Shilling in the Pound on the val les aforesaid ; the said Eate shall be for the period of One Year from the d ite of the making and levying thereof, a: id shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, nfcw nest ensuing.
