Notice h hereby given iik accordance with the vote of tho Council, that plans nnd proposals ior such an apparatus will be icceivcd for consideration, up till the iirst day of August next ensuing. Tho following particulars are published for the iuformutiou of intended exhibitor? of plaits. Tlio plans and proposals will be submitted to a body of judge*, composed of Dxpurionucd miners, and &uch other persons as his Honor the Superintendent muy appoint, and in considering them the following poiuts will be kept in vietv :— 1. The cost of tho apparatus as it appears on the phut, uud its probable tout and tour au4 wear. 2. They can obtain practical information on these und other points, by application through the post to the Central Mining Association at Naseby. - If, in the opinion of the judges appointed any plun shall appear to be worthy ot adoption by the miners in the Province, the G-overnmcut undertakes to furnish copies of the sumo to caull of the Milling Associations in tho Province with full instructions as to inventions of the inventors, and the payment of the bonus wiil then be determined iv the following manner, payment being due wituiu eight months from the date at which the copies of tho plans and instructions huvo bueu issued to the various Mining Associations.
