■ Tii-E County Council is. to be commended for the earnestness displayednfc the last meeting upon tlie subject of town drainage, and the necessity of' providing bye-laws to suppress the accumulation and indiscriminate heaping up, of filth in the midsi of the. town. It was gratifying also to see that the Council was thoroughly unanimous, upon the question, and we .have at .length heart to believe that these so much needed sanitary works will be commenced.
