Eminent Hospital Physicians of London stated that Dr J. Collis Bbownb was the discoverer of Chlorodyne; that they prescribed it largely, and mean no other than Dr Bkowne's.— See Timos, of July 12, 15G4> The Public, therefore, are cautioned against using any other than Dk J. Collis Browne's CniOTnDTNE. BEJIEDIAL USES AND ACTION. This INVALUABLE REMEDY produces quiet refreshing sleep, removes pain, calms the system, restores the deranged functions, and stimulates healthy action of the secretions of the body, without creating any of those unpleasant results attending the use of opium. Old and young may take it at all hours and tiines when requisite. Montgomery, Esq., late Inspector of Hospitals, , Bom bay : "Chlorodyne is a most valuable remedp in Neuralgia, Asthma, and Dysentery. To ifc I fairly owe my restoration to health, after eighteen months' sovere suffering, and when all other remedies had failed." Dr. Lowe, Medical Missionary in India, reports (December, 1865) : — ■' That in nearly every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. Collis Bbowne's Chlorodyue was administered, the patient recovered." Extract from the Medical Times, January 12, 1866 : — "Clorodyne is prescribed by scores of orthodox medioal practitioners. Of course, it would not thus be singularly popular, did t not ' supply a want und fill a place.' " Extract from tho General Board of Health, London, as to its eliicacy in Choleia: — "So stiongly convinced are we of the immense value of this remedy, that we cannot too for« cibly urge the necessity of adopting it in all cases." Beware of spurious and dangerous compounds sold as " Chlorodyne," from which lrequent fatal results have lollowed.
