And whereas, in and by the said j resolution the Council resolved that the said Kate should be made and levied as aforesaid for tha period of one year from 4be day of the making and levying thereof, and should be paid in one sum, and that the amount of such rate should be the sum of ONE (SHILLING in the POUND on the talues of the Rateable Proporty as appearing in the Valuation Roll now in force ml the* County aforesaid. Notice therefore is iereby given pursuant to the provisions < f the last mentioned Act that the said Cou icil on THURSDAY, the 16lb day of A ugust, now instant, intend to make and fevy such Rate, and to order and direct thlt the amount thereof shall be the sum ol One Shilling iv the Pound on the value! aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall bo far the period of One Year from the data of the making and levying thereof, and [shall be paid in one sum on THURSD^ V, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, now next ensuing.
