v. ||§|§| =• TPIE INANGaTiUA COUNTY \ COUNCIL, fTTJIEHEAS, thejINANGAHUA CoUNTY Council, at a meeting held on the Ist day of August, 1877, pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 107 of the ' Counties ct, 18761 j and iv exercise of fbe same, and of all other powers in this behalf them enallling, resolved that a 1 GENERAL RATE on all Rateable ■ | Property within the said County, for carrying into effect the general purposes j of the said Act, shpulcl bo made and 1 levied in accordance [with the provisions of the said Act, and ofl " The Rating Act, 1870.." And whereas, in and by the said resolution the Counci resolved that the said Kate should be i ]ade and levied as aforesaid for the perio 1 of one year from .|he day of the making find levying thereof, and should be paid in one sura, and that the amount of such r te should be the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the valuls of the Rateable Property as appearing in the Valuation Roll now in force ia tlie County aforesaid. Notice therefore is hei eby given pursuant to the provisions of the last mentioned Act that the said Coutu il on THURSDAY, the lGth day of Au< ust, now instant, intend to make and lev y such Rate, and to order and direct that the amount thereof shall be tho sum of Jne Shilling ia the Pound on the values aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall bo foil the period of One Year from the dafojof the making and levying thereof, and shall be paid in one sum on TJIURSDAJT, the 27th day of SEPTEMBKK, now best ensuing.
