THE IN ANC AH UA COUNTY CCUNCIL, I - VTTHEREAS, the Inangahua County Council, at a meeting held on the Ist day of August, 1877, pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 107 of the ' Counties Act, 1 .76," and in exercise of the same, and )f all other powers in this behalf Ihem < nabling, resolved that a GENERAL R.ITE on all Rateable Property within the said County, for carrying into eff ct the general purposes of the said Act, should be made and levied in accords ice with the provisions of the said Act, ar 3 of " The Rating .Act, t 1876." And whe.) eas, in - Sbd by the said » . , resolution the Ccuncil resolved that the said Kate should be made and. levied as ■c aforesaid for the ; teriod of one year from jho day of tho mak Ing and levying thereof, X'k and should be pa d in one sum, and that the amounjfi-of sujh rtfte should be the sum offiDNE SHILLING in the POUN.6 on the values of the Rateable Property as appt aring in the Valuation Rolf n°w in force n the County aforesaid. Notice therefore is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the last mentioned Act that the said Ct uncil on THURSDAY, the 16th day of August, now instant, intend to make anc levy such Rate, and to order and direct t iat the amount thereof shall be the sum of One Shilling in the Pound on the yak es aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall bo for tho period of One Year from the di te of the making and levying thereof, ai d shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, n>w next ensuing.
