THE INANGAHUA COUNTY COUiNOIL, ITTHEREAS, tho Ikanoaiuja County Council, at a meottjng held on tho Ist day of August, 185jT, pursuant to the powers conferred by Spction 107 of the ' Counties Act, 1876," md in exercise of tho same, and of all other powors, in this behalf them enablin >, resolred that a GENERAL RATE m all Rateable Property within the c aid County, {or carrying into effect the general purposes of tho said Act, should bo nrado and levied in accordance with the prorisions of the said Act, and of r Tho Rating Act, 1876." And whereas, in and by the said resolution tho Council! resolred that the said Rate should be made and loried m f aforesaid for the periid of one yoar from 4he day of the making/and levying thereof, and should be paid in one sum, and that the amount of suchj rate should be the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on tho vllues of tho Rateable Property as appearing in the Valuation Roll now in force inj the County aforesaid. Notice therefore isfliereby given pursuant to the provisions /of the last mentioned Act that the said ciuncil on THURSDAY, the 16th day of I August, now instant, intend to make and levy such Bate, and to order and direct jthat the amount thereof shall be the sum of One Shilling in the Pound on the values aforesaid ; that the said Rate shall lie for the period of One Year from the Idato of the making and levying thereof, pnd shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, hovr next ensuing.
