THE INAyGAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL, VfTHEREAIi , the Inangaiiua Countt Council, at i meeting" held on the Ist day of Auj ust, 1877, pursuant to the powers conferr sd by Section 107 of the • Counties Act, 1870," and in exorcise of the same, an< of all other powers in this behalf thei i enabling, resolved that a GENERAL {RATE on all Rateable i Property within the said County, for ' carrying into effect the general purposes of tho said Act, should be mado and levied in aceSm ince with the provisions of tho said Act, aod of " The Rating Act, 1876." And whe reas, in and by the said resolution tho C&uncil resolved that the said Rate . shouk be made and levied as aforesaid for the period of one yonr from 4he day of the ma ting and levying thereof, and should bo p id in one sum, and that tho amount of si eh rato should be the sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the values of the Eatcable Property as appe aring in the Valuation Roll now in force : a the County aforesaid. Notice therefore ii hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the last mentioned Act that the said cluncil on THURSDAY, the lGth day ofl August, now instant, intend to make anjd levy such Rate, and to order and direct that tho amount thereof shall bo the sure of One Shilling in the Pound on the vo ues aforesaid ; that tho aaid Rate shall b > for tho period of One Year from the Hate of tho making and levying thereof, dnd shall be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the 27th day of SEPTEMBER, nbw next ensuing.
