And whereas, in and by the said resolution tb a Council • resolved that .the said Rate si ould be made and levied as iaforosaid for the period of one year from tho dayofth< making and levying thereof, and should ts paid in one sum, and that tho amount <>f such rate should be tho sum of ONE SHILLING in the POUND on the values of the Ratoable Property as appearing in tbe Valuation Roll now in [force in the County aforesaid. Notico therefore is hereby given pursuant to tbe provisions of the last mentioned Act that thdsaid Council on THURSDAY, the 16th aay of August, now instant, intend to v ake and levy such Rate, and to order and 3iroct that the amount thereof shall be tl o sum of One 1 Shilling in tho Pound on the values aforesaid ; that the 'ri said Rate jkall be for tbe period of One „ Year front tbe date of the making and levying tb Jreof, and shall be paid in one y,mm on THURSDAY, the 27th day of ' SEPTET BER, now next ensuing.
