Dr. Lowb, Medical Missionary in India, reports (December, 1865; : — •' That in nearly every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. Collis Browne's Chlorodyne wav administered, the patient recovered;" Extract from the Medical Times, January 12, 1866 : — "Clorodyne is proscribed by scores of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course, it would not thus be singularly popular, did t not ' supply a want and fill a place.' " Extract from the General Board of Health, London, as to ita efficacy in Oholetu :— " So sttongly convinced are wo of the immenso value of this remedy, that we cannot too for* cibly urge tho necessity of adopting it in all cases."
