Dr. Lows, Medical Missionary in India, reports (December, 1865,) :—'' 'lhat in nearly, every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. Coius -Beowne's Chlorodyne was administered, the patient recovered." Extract from the Medical Times, January 12, 1866 : — "Clorodyne is prescribed by scores of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course, it would not thus be singularly popular, did t not ' supply a want and fill a place.' " Extract from the General Board of Health, London, as to ite efficacy in Choleia: — "8o stiongly convinced are we of the immense value of this remedy, that we cannot too for* cibly urge tho necessity of adopting it in all cuses." Peware of spurious and dangerous compounds sold as " Chlorodyne," from which lrequent fatal results huve lollowed.
