ANDERSONS EXTENDED G.M..CO.
Sib,— ln your issue of the 18th instant you publish a fair report of the above company's mine, and in the following issue (the 20th), somewhat inconsistently, allege that an " attempt " has been made "to magnify them"— the indications of the mine— •" unduly, for the purpose of getting up a fleeting excitement for speculative purposes "—this assertion you have made on feeling the " pulse of the market." 1 With the permission of the directors, and the knowledge of a great many share* holders I beg to simply refute your assertions—we are quite content to leave the property to its merits. Yours obediently, ! A. D. Bayfbilb, Legal manager Andersons Ex* tended Company, Limited. N.B.— For your information, the last recorded sale I have is Is 3d per share. [We have nothing to add to Mr Bayfeild's remarks. We admire the simplicity of ; his " refutation," and have comfort in the knowledge that Dr. Fell is not dead yet.
