Wood stated that Dr Corns Bbowhb was un* doubtedly tho inventor of "CHLORODYNE ;" that the story of the defendant Freeman being the-inveator was deliberately untrue, whick he regretted bad been sworn to. Eminent Hospital Physicians of London stated that Dr J. Collis Bbownb was tße discoverer of Chlorodyne. that they prescribed it largely, and mean ne other than Dr Bhowke's.— See Times, of July 12, 1864. The Public, therefore, aro cautioned against using any other than Da J. Colms Bbownb's Chlobodtkb. EEMEDIAL USES AKD ACTION. This INVALUABLE REMEDY produces quiet refreshing sleep, relieves pain, calms the system, restores the deranged functions, and stimulates healthy action of the secretions of the body, without creating any of those unpleasant results attending the use of opium. J, Cqlhs Bbowvb's Chlorodyne was administered, the patient recoveyed." Extract from the Medical Times, January 12, 1866 : — "Clorodyne is proscribed by scores of orthodox medical practitioners. Of course, it would not thus be singularly popular, did t not ' supply a want and fill a place.' " Extraot from tbe General Board of Health, London, aj to its efficacy in Cholera :— " So strongly convinoed ore we df the immense value of this remedy, that we cannot too for* cibly urge the necessity of adopting it in all 00808.'' Beware of spurious and dangerous compounds sold as "Chlorodyne," from which frequent fatal results have followed. bee leading article, Parmaeeutical Journal, Ist August, 1869, whioh states that Dr. J.
