Any Title, however long and complex, may be investigated at a cost to the Applicant of only Five Shillings; for if the Title ia reected all fees are returned, with the exceptior of that amount. ALL TITLES ARS GUARANTEED BY T/HE GOVERNMENT, Ou aU Conveyances by Deed under the old system, the coat of registration in thp Deeds Registry, over, aud above the Solicitor's charge, is never less than Fifteen Shillings, frequently very much more; while land which has been bought uuder the provisions of '•' The Land Transfer Act" can be transferred at a total cost of Eleven Shillings where a whole section is conveyed; and where only partis conveyed (and therefore a fresh Certificate of Title is necessitated), pf Thirity-one killings, which is the highest sum allpwed by, the Act, no matter what the value or area of the land! Under the Regulations in force on and after the Ist Januaryj^B72i > the charge for Certificates of TUleaßkued upon Memoranda of j Transfer is reenffed to Ten Shillings in all cases where the value of tho land is under Ten Pounds. : The tQtal cost of executing a mortgage or ' lease of land, registered under the Act, i 9 Twelve Shillings, no matter what the amount involved.
