ENERGETIC.
The proceeds of the last fortnight's crushing from this mine has been of a highly favorable character. The total amouqt of gold obtained for the above stated time was 5060z5, tlius showing a vast improvement in the quality of the stone, and it is an item of cheering intelligence to state that the stone being broken down at the present time looks exceedingly well, and promises an exceptionally good yield for the next cleaning up. It is however to be regretted that owing to a breakage in the boiler, crushing opera* tions will be stopped until the latter part of next week.
