Time, 2 mm. 44 sees, Queen'fcPlate — Templeton 1 Puriri .... 2 Pungawerewere 3, Betting— 3> to 2 Puriri. Delemain. declared to win with. Templeton. Punga cut out the running closely followed by Puriri, who soon oame to the front. Templeton at the back of the course overhauled Puriri, and won easily, lime, 4 mm 3gsecs, Flying Handicap—' Fishhook 1 Dead Heat '2 Bob Boy 3 Betting— 2 to 1 on Fishhook ;ato 1 against the others. Princess Mary ran Fishhook pretty close for a considerable distance, and the Cup winner was twice challenged by Kob Boy and Dead Heat, but he shook his opponents off and won by a length. Time, 2min 7£secs. Benevolent Hurry Scurry was won by Comet. Consolation Handicap, 70 soys ; 1 milePrincess Mary, 6st 1 Dead Heat, 6st 61b 2 Bob Boy, 7st 3 The other starters were — Punga, 8-t ; Elfin King, 7st 41b ; Tadmor, 7st 21b. Good race.
