OUR MINES.

MUBKAY CREEK. \[FBOM OUB MINING BEPOBTBB.] KEEP IT DAEK. Wednesday, Feb. 28. The whole of the works are "being pushed forward with all possible speed, and in the course of a very short time the preliminary work for opening up the new reef will be completed. A new stope has been started at the thin end of the block, and in which some very excellent stone has been met witb. It is intended this week to start the shaft from the surface to meet the uprise, which will have to be sunk a distance of 60 feet. When this is complete, sufficient stone will doubtless be available to employ the fall number of stamps at the public battery. It is, however, intended to commence crushing again next week.
