GARDEN PARTY.
St. David's, Upper Hutt; Though the weather was not all that could- be desired last Wednesday, fully a hundred persons accepted the invitation of the Minister and Management Committee of SfciDavid's Presbyterian Church to a garden party held in the grounds of Mr. G.J. Taylor, Upper Hutt. Outdoor pastimes were engaged in and a number of musical items'were rendered. During the intervals afternoon tea was served to tho guests. A collection in aid of the Manse Fund Was- taken up, and realised a satisfactory amount.
