PERSONAL

Mr and Mrs S. S. Murray, of Turua, who have been residents on the Hauraki Plains for the last 40 years sail from Wellington on Friday on a visit to England. Mr and Mrs Murray expect to visit England, Scotland and Ireland during the eight months they will be away. Mr and Mrs Murray, will reside in Auckland after their return to New Zealand. Mr Murray has been closely associated with Turua for many years, was chairman of the Hauraki United Drainage Board for a number of years and was a member of the board for 20 years. He was also an elder of the Turua Presbyterian Church for 30 years.
