PERSONAL
Mr F. Hopkinson, accountant to the Auckland Hospital Board, has been appointed secretary-treasure? of the Thames Hospital Boaid and attended the December meeting of the board. Mr Hopkinson will take up his duties at Thames in the New Year.
Mias Margaret Alison McGregor has been appointed matron of Waihi hospital.
