WARNING SIGN TO BE ERECTED

Describing it as a “death trap,” Cr T. O’Carrol, at the October meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council, stressed the need for a traffic warning to be erected at the Kopuarahi school corner. He referred to the recent accident which occurred on the corner in questi on and as a result of which three mien were sent to hospital, one seriously injured. A warning sign should be erected, said Cr. O’Carroll, drawing the attention of motorists to the* datlgerous comer. lit was not 'possible to negotiate the corner when travelling at a speed of 35 m.pjh.
