Public Notice COUNTY OF JJAURAKI PLAINS Notice for Nomination of Candidates at Election of Councillors. Pursuant to Section 7 of the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925, and amendments thereto, I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an election will be held on Saturday, the 18th day of November, 1950, for the purpose of electing ONE councillor for each Riding of the County of Hauraki Plains, and I hereby appoint the County Council Chambers at Ngatea as the place and FRIDAY, the 27th day of October, 1950, (before npon) as the day for the nomination of Candidates for such office. Electing One representative of portion of the .County of Ohinemuri on the Hauraki Catchment Board. And I hereby appoint the bounty Office,. Belmont road, Paeroa, as the place and Friday, October 27, 1950, before noon, as the day for the nomination of candidates for such offices. Nomination papers may be obtained on application to the Returning Officer. Every candidate for the office of Representative on Thames Hospital Board, Thames Valley Electric Power Board or Hauraki Catchment Board shall, at the time of nomination, deposit with the Returning Officer the sum of £3 which shall be dealt with according to law.
