FARMHAND BEFORE COURT

DANGEROUS DRIVING CHARGE

Roy Hansen, farmhand, of Puriri, was convicted and fined £2/10/-, and ordered to pay costs by' Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M., in the Thames Magistrate’s Court for dangerous driving. Hansen, who did not appear, pleaded guilty to the charge of driving his motor car on the footpath in Pollen street, Thames, at about 15 to 20 miles an hour, earlier in the month.
