BIRTHDAY REUNION

THAMES OLD GIRLS’ ASSN. GATHERING IN AUCKLAND The twenty-fourth birthday reunion of the Thames Old Girls’ Association was held in the Lewis Eady hall, Auckland, on a recent Saturday afternoon and there was a good' attendance of members, Mrs A. Eccles, the president, extending a welcome to all. Among those present were two very old ladies, Mirs Thompson, aged 88 years, and Mrs Taylor, aged 80, who cut the birthday cake. Many happy talks had over a most enjoyable cup of tea and tasty eatables.

An interesting musical programme was provided, the artists receiving well deserved applause. They were Mrs Garvie, Mrs Keller, Mrs W. Sproude, Mrs Anita Webster, Mrs Grove, Miss Patricia Sproude and Mr Robert iSimjrners. The accompanist was Mrs Pickering Jones who carried out her duties in her usual masterly way.
