; A painful injury necessitating three Stitches in her finger, was sustained by Miss Mabel Browne at theCoromandel canning factory last Friday. Miss Browne slipped and fell, cutting her ring finger on a tin. .She received attention at the Coromandel hospital. New Bridge at Simpsons Visitors to Kuaotunu over the week-end commented very favourably on the fine new concrete brodge at iSinxpsonfe on the Whitianga-Khaio-tunu road. The bridge, which is a single span, has just been completed and is a very decided asset to the district
