NEW CHARGES
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
AMENDED LICENSE
STRONGMAN ELECTRIC COY.
A new scale of charges for electricity supplied by the Strongman. Electric Supply Company Limited of 'Coromandel, has been authorised by Order-in-Council dated August 9, 1950, and will affect ■the charges made to consumers in Coromandel.
The original license authorising John George Strongman of Coromandell, mechanical engineer, of Coromandel, to erect and use certain electric lines in portion of the county of Coromandel has been amended, the rights having been assigned to the Strongman Electric Supply Company Limited.
The new scale of charges now authorised provides:—
“The charges for electricity supplied for all purposes shall not exceed the following amounts: — “Domestic consumers. —First 30 units per month, 10d per unit; units in excess of 30 per month, 5d per unit.
“Commercial consumers. —All units 6d per unit. “In addition to the foregoing charges, the licensee may make in respect of both domestic and commercial consumers, a minimum charge of 7/6 per month.
“Payment shall not be demanded from any consumer at intervals of less than 21 days apart.”
