NETHERTON LOSES ON POINTS 'The Ngatea A badminton team recently defeated the Netherton A team, the game score being six all but after a counting up the Ngatea team won on points. Results, of games with Netherton names mentioned first were as follows:—
Ladies doubles, Miss R. Richmond and Mrs Richmond lb, defeated Mrs E. Benner and Miss K. Jackson 9; Mrs Sarjant and Mrs Collier 15, defeated Misses F. Waite and M. Buchanan 2; Mrs Gordon and Mrs Baker I's, defeated Mrs E. Waite and Miss J. Cooks 3.
Men’s doubles, G. Sarjant and B. Kemp 12, lost to R. .Ridings and A. Price 21; N. Collier and D. Kemp 11, lost to J. Hall and R. Angel, 21; W. Dovell and D. Arthur 21, defeated M. Darling and R.
