VALLEY RUGBY

REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES

BAY OF AND WAIKATO

Arrangements were finalised at the July meeting of the Thames Valley Rugby Union held at Paeroa for senior 1 representative games. The match against Bay of Plenty will be played at'Waihi on August 5 and Mr W. F. F. Faber was appointed manager; On August 12 the Thames Valley team will play Waikato at Hamilton.

A letter was received from the Auckland Rugby Union advising that the match Thames Valley versus Auckland B had been set down to be played at Helensville on September 9. Members considered that it was rather late in the season for Thames Valley to field a strong team and it was decided to write to Auckland suggesting that the match be played early next season.
