BIRTHS FOR JUNE INCREASE

MORE MARRIAGES IN PAEROA

The month of June, with 15 births registered in Paeroa, showed an increase of three over June of last year acording to the information made available to the Gazette by the registrar of births, deaths and marriages at Paeroa, Mr C. W. Williams, postmaster.

Since the beginning of the year dp to the end of June 107 births were registered being one more than in the corresponding period of last year. In June of 1950 and 194'9 two deaths were registered in Paeroa, the total of 12 deaths recorded since the beginning of the year corresponding also with those of the first six months of last year. In June of 1950 and also in June of 1949 one marriage only was performed by the registrar, total to date for this year is two as against three for the corresponding period of last year.

With "five marriage license issued for June of this year that figure exceeds three for June, 1949. Since the beginning of the year the total number of marriage licenses issued was 24, being six more than for the corresi ponding periods of last year.
