PORPOISE IN PIAKO
SEEN NEAR NGATEA
PLAYED UP AND DOWN RIVER
A school of ’porpoise was seen in the Piako river last week and attracted considerable attention. The dolphins came up the 'river on the spring tide 'passing under the Ngatea bridge and played up and down the river for quite a time. Tlie banks and wharf at Ngatea were soon crowded with interested Spectators.
