BUILDING PERMIT
BELMONT ROAD AREA APPLICATION DEFERRED At the April meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council application was made hy Mr J- L. Jones for permission to erect a two-roomed cottage at the rear of his shop in Belmont road, Paeroa, to be used as living accommodation. The application was referred to the building inspector, Mr W. L. Oliver who reported to the council that it would be unwise to grant the application as in the event of a change in ownership complications might arise. Cr. H. P. Wylde moved that the application be referred to the building committee for investigation. The mayor, Mr Edwin Edwards, supported Mr Wylde’s motion, which upon being put to the meeting was carried.
