SILVER WEDDING

MR AND MRS W. J. GAMBLE COROM/fNDEL TIN CANNING A silver wedding was celebrated recently when Mr and Mrs W. J. Gamble of Tiki road, Coromandel, received several 'surprises. During the morning members of the family from from other parts arrived unexpectedly. In the afternoon two ladies from the ladies’ guild visited the Gamble residence and presented Mrs Gamble with a lovely bouquet together with good wishes from the guild. In the evening neighbours and friends surprised the household, signalling their arrival with tin canning. The visitors brought their supper with them A very, enjoy able evening was spent, and no doubt Mr and Mrs Gamble will look back to a very pleasant memory —that of their silver wedding anniversary.
