Public Notices COROMANDEL COUNTY MOTOR DRIVERS’ LICENSES, 1949-50 Renewals of Motor Drivers Licenses may now be obtained at the County Office, Coromandel, during Office hours, 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, inclusive. Applicants who have to go under driving test should notify Office beforehand, for appointment. COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL TIMBER (JARTING EXTRAORDINARY TRAFFIC Pursuant to Regulation 7 of Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations, 1940, and pursuant to statutory requirements thereunder, notice is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council has by resolution prohibited the cartage of timber, whether in logs or sawn, or firewood, over roads under the jurisdiction of the Council during the period from 24th day of June, 1949, to 31st October, 1949, both days inclusive. This prohibition will be strictly enforced and will only be lifted in respect of any operator when he has come to an agreement with the Council under Section 12 Transport Law Amendment Act, 1939, and has paid the expenses provided for thereunder.
