MEDAL ROUND PLAYED PAEROA GOLF CLUB Good scores were returned by L. Turnbul] and R. McKenzie in a medal round played on Saturday by members of the Paeroa Golf Club. Turnbull and McKenzie both returned net scores of 64 but Turnbull won on the count back. Details:— L. Turnbull, 94—30—64 net; R. McKenzie, 86—22—64; G. Laird, 78— 11—67; D. Golding, 88—23—65; Ross Harris, 88—20—68; C. P. Finlay, 89— 20—69; H. Thorp, 81—11—70; O. W. Knight, 86—16—70. T. Gregson led the field home with a 38 pointer in a medal stableford round. Details:— T. Gregson, 22—16—38; J. Ganley, 24—12—36; H. A. Morrison, 21—14— 35; Ken Morrison, 22—12—34; W. E. Tubman, 27—6—33; L. J. Shaw, 26— 7—33; P. Williams, 18—15—33; G. Laird, 25—8—33. A flag match will be played on Saturday next and the draw will be posted in the club-house. Play starts from No. 1 tee at 12.30.
