DUST NUISANCE

KAIHERE SCHOOL PROBLEM SEALED ROAD REQUEST Support for the request of the Kaihere school committee that, for health reasons, the road in front of the school be tar sealed as soon as possible was voiced by the Kaihere branch of the Federated Farmers in a letter to the March meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council. Cr. H. Hayward said the committee had a case for the sealing. He maintained that every school in the county should have a sealed road past it.

It was' decided to get in touch with the Main Highways Board in an endeavour to have the road sealed.

The chairman, Cr. C. W. Parfitt, said he thought that sealing past the Ngatea District High School was more important than any in the county as there was more traffic past Ngatea than anywhere.
