Wasps In Molasses Wasps are reported to be greatly on the increase in all parts of the Thames Valley and each day brings further reports of trouble experienced from these pests. It is stated that 900 wasps were removed from a drum of molasses on an Awaiti farm. Brooklyn School Jubilee On September 24 the Brooklyn Public School will celebrate its jubilee, when it is expected that many schoolday friendships will be renewed. To enable an authentic record to be compiled of ex-pupils, all old scholars are requested to send in their names and addresses, together with period of attendance at the school, to the jubilee secretary, Brooklyn Public School, Wellington. Road Repairs at Waikino In the Waikino area footpaths have been re-sanded and eight culverts have been lifted and cleared and broken pipes replaced, reported the county engineer, Mr L. E.
