ROAD TO WHANGAMATA TOO LATE THIS SEASON The question of the construction of a road from .Hikutaia to Whangamata was again discussed at the March meeting of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce. The secretary, Mr J. H. Bartlett, stated that the contractor had been unable to quote for the necessary work and now with the approach of winter would not be in a position to do any work until next summer. It was decided to defer the question until next September.
