Sanctuary at Te Aroha

At a meeting of the Auckland Acclimatisation Society in Te Awamutu recently a delegate from Te Aroha outlined a proposal contemplated by the local club for creating an island and lake sanctuary in the domain for the encouragement of grey duck breeding.
