TRIBUTE PAID

28 YEARS OF SERVICE POWER BOARD ENGINEER For the 28 years of service rendered to the Thames Valley Electric-Power Board by the chief engineer, Mr N. G. McLeod, a gratuity equal to six months salary is to be granted him on his forthcoming retirement. This was decided, at the March meeting of the board when the chairman, Mr J. F. Mayn, paid a tribute to Mr McLeod’s services. Mr W. S. Goosman, M.P., and Mr W. A. Rushton each added their expressions of appreciation to the engineer’s “ loyal and excellent work.”
