The tables presented a very pleasing appearance and the big u welcome ” sign, together with the lodge emblem, “ Friendship, Love and Truth,” were hung at the far end of the hall and caught the eye as one entered. A lovely birthday cake graced the main table.

Approximately 230 members and friends sat down to the tables and the scene was one of jollification. A brief toast list was carried out, commencing with the loyal toast, accompanied by the national anthem.
