HOCKEY DANCE

VISITORS ENTERTAINED

OVER 300 PEOPLE PRESENT

After the hockey matche played against Tauranga men’s and ladies’ teams at Paeroa on Saturday the Paeroa players entertained Tauranga players at their homes and afterwards at a dance organised by the ladies’ club. Nearly 300 people were present from all parts of the district. Prizes were won by Rex Beale and partner and Mr Swale of Waihou. During the evening items given by Mrs K. Beale, Mr G. Anderson and several of the visiting players, were very much appreciated. Music was supplied by the Rhythm Four and the duties of M.C. were ably carried out by Mr Austin Davies.
