AFFAIRS OF THE UNION QUESTION OF INSURANCE TEAMS FOR KING’S BIRTHDAY The weekly meeting of the management committee of the Paeroa Rugby Union was held on Monday evening, the chairman, Mr W. F. F. Faber, presiding. The following members were also present: Messrs H. Fraser, E. Meyer, E. Chikott, K. Fitz Henry, R. Todd, E. C. Morgan, W. A. Geary, V. Moloney, J. Verran, J. A. It was decided to arrange a match if tiave] restrictions permitted. Results of the matches played last Saturday were discussed, the third grade match, which ended West 30, United nil, coming in for some com-

ment. The teams’ managers' reports indicated that the efficiency of the teams was seriously impaired by the failure of some players to attend practices.
