GOLF IN PAEROA

INTER-CLUB MATCH GAMES WITH WAIHI The inter-club golf match played between Paeroa and Waihi at Waihi resulted in a win for Paeroa players by eleven games to ten. A bogey stableford was also played and w T on by Ken Morrison of Paeroa with a score of 36 points. The match played at Paeroa was won by Paeroa players by seven games to five. The four ball best ball bogey match which was also played resulted in a tie between T. J. Massey and M. Young 5 up, A. Clark and J. Wigg 5 up and C. Duthie and T. Haszard 5 up. On the count'back A. Clark and J. Wigg. Waihi, won the match. MATC HES ON SATURDAY MIXED CANADIAN FOURSOME The match to be played next Saturday by members of the Paeroa Golf Club will be a ladies’ and men’s Canadian foursome. The draw for the teams will commence at the clubhouse at 12.30 p.m. Players are asked to arrive as early as possible.
