FOR WORKING MAN
REFRIGERATOR WANTED VALLEY WOMEN’S REQUEST “ That the Government be asked to investigate the possibility of placing on the market a refrigerator the price of which is within the limit of the working man, giving consideration to the fact that such an article has been manufactured and advertised and placed on the market some years ago in England,” was a remit carried at the annual meeting of the Thames-Hauraki District Federation of Women’s Institutes. It was submitted by the Thames branch of the institute.
