THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD NOTICE TO CONSUMERS Commencing from Friday, 16th April, until further notice, power supply will be totally shut down over the whole of this board’s territory in accordance with the following schedule: — Mon., Tues., Wed., Thur, of each week: From 10.30 p.m. till 2 a.m. next day. Friday of each week: From 10.30 p.m. to 4.30 a.m. next day. Saturday of each week: From 1.30 p.m.—3.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.—4.30 a.m. next day. On Sunday of each week: From 1.30 p.m. till 3.30 p.m. and 9 p.m.—l a.m. next day. Other cuts in power may be expected at times which cannot be forecast, depending on the ability of the State Hydro Department to supply this Board’s requirements. IMPORTANT — These Shut Downs of supply are mandatory; where consumers are served by feeders which must be kept alive for the purpose of supplying Hospitals, Railways, Dairy Factories or Freezing Works, during the above schedule of hours, the consumers must take steps to switch off all their own individual supply otherwise they are liable to total disconnection and prosecution for not obeying this order.
